Dorset Cereals - a Universal company!
Award-winning mini packs from South West producer, Dorset Cereals, are now being distributed to foodservice by leading company Universe Foodservice, part of Petty Wood & Co. Ltd. Universe Foodservice, a specialist in foodservice marketing, sales and distribution will be working closely with the Company’s established wholesalers to continue to raise awareness of the brand and increase sales through hotels, guest houses and bed & breakfast establishments.
“Universe Foodservice is one of the Country’s biggest foodservice operations and we are delighted to be working with the team to distribute our range of mini packs and Chunky Slices. Since the launch of our mini packs in 2006 we have welcomed on board hotels, guest houses and B&B’s from throughout the Country. Universe will be working with our current wholesalers to build on this success introducing our range into new areas of the catering industry,” said Patrick Horton from Dorset Cereals.

The Company’s mini packs are served at some of the Country’s finest hotels, guest houses, clubhouses and B&B’s including Claridge’s, Heathrow’s Virgin Clubhouse and the award-winning Summer Lodge Country House Hotel, Restaurant and Spa in Dorset.

Universe Foodservice will be distributing all seven of the Dorset Cereals’ mini pack recipes including: Fruit, Nuts & Seeds, Really Nutty, Super High Fibre, Super Cranberry, Cherry & Almond, Organic Fruit, Nuts & Seeds, Tasty Toasted Spelt and Berries & Cherries, also available as a mini variety pack.
The Company will also be one of the first to stock the three new Naturally Light Flakes mini pack recipes from Dorset Cereals, including: Naturally Light Flakes Figs & Grapes, Cranberries, Cherries & Raspberries, Pomegranate & Cherries and the mini variety pack, and Dorset Cereals’ range of new delicious Chunky Slices, Cranberry & Almond, Date & Pecan and Pistachio & Pumpkin Seed packed in boxes of three or in an impulse unit of 24 slices.
