We’re teaming up with a host of Dorset gardening talent to build our very own courtyard garden for one of the world’s most prestigious horticultural events, The Chelsea Flower Show.
The garden will be entitled Edible Playground and will be an inspiration for the UK campaign to educate, inspire and encourage schools to develop a small food-producing garden within their grounds.
It will be designed, constructed and grown here in Dorset. We are delighted to be working with garden designer Nick Williams-Ellis from Cerne Abbas (pictured right) and garden construction company Marshall James of Beaminster, both previous Chelsea medal winners, and with our neighbours, Poundbury Gardens in Dorchester, who will be growing the plants.
Chelsea Flower Show 2008 runs May 20th- 24th.
This competition has now closed.
