...here are the results!
Last year we held a hugely successful Simple Pleasures Film Festival, in which we invited you all to enter a short film with the promise of fame on our website, and wonderful prizes!
Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who entered. We were so overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the films we’ve received, that not only do we have a winner, two runners up and a people’s prize, but we also created a special judge’s prize as well!
Our awards ceremony was held at the fabulous Electric Palace in Bridport on the 23rd April 2010. All winners received a beautiful hand carved Dorset Cereals award, made in Sturminster Newton, just down the road from us in Dorset. The top prize was £5000 to the winner and a week’s work experience with a top film production company. We hope Robin, Lorenzo and Erini had a wonderful time!
Thanks must also go to Julian Fellowes and his wife Emma for supporting the evening and the many hours deliberating over the judging process.
