We are supporting the wonderful Edible Playgrounds Initiative and our aim is to get every school in the country to transform an area of their playground into a food producing garden. Edible Playgrounds is all about teaching children where food comes from, and sharing the fun and satisfaction of growing and cooking your own.
This year we created an Edible Playground Courtyard Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and won a Gold Award and Award for Best Courtyard Garden!
But we didn’t stop there, we created an even bigger Edible Playground Show Garden at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and won another Gold Award and Best Show Garden Award. We are thrilled by the response we have received, during and now after the show.
Our Hampton Court garden was brimming with edible plants and also had lots of environmental features including a wormery, windmill to power our weepy hose watering system and lots more...
