Some mornings you need something really warming and cosy to set you up for the day ahead. That’s why we’ve come up with our most comforting recipe yet, this Hearty Gingerbread Porridge. It’s made with barley flakes as well as the usual jumbo oats, to make it extra creamy. To this we add crumbled pieces of real gingerbread – an extra-special treat to persuade you to get out of bed on those cold, wintry mornings! Simple, but then the best things in life usually are.

Jumbo porridge oats (20%), cut porridge oats (20%), barley flakes (20%), tiny date pieces, gingerbread flavoured porridge oats (porridge oats, natural flavouring), gingerbread pieces (8%) [wheat flour, sunflower oil, partially inverted sugar syrup, dark brown sugar, sugar, raising agents (sodium bicarbonate, calcium phosphate, ammonium bicarbonate), ground ginger, mixed spice].
