our simple pleasures film festival

We recently ran our very own Simple Pleasures Film Competition, asking you to create a short film that sums up our belief: ‘simple, but then the best things in life usually are’ and we are so excited about all the entries we have had.

The entries have been whizzed over to Dorset-based Oscar winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes (Gosford Park), who will choose one winner and two runners up. The winner will get £5000 and a week’s work experience at a top film production company, and the two runners up will receive £2000 each. There’s also a special prize for the video that received the most votes from the public. We’re calling this the ‘People’s Prize’ and the winner of this will get £2000.

All of the entrants will be invited to our Simple Pleasures Film Festival Awards Ceremony taking place in Dorset in the next few weeks. We will keep you updated on who our clever winners were, so watch this space!
