strawberry oatmeal smoothie

method

Place the porridge oats in a blender and process until they are finely ground – this step is essential so that your smoothie 
has a smooth texture.

Add the rest of the ingredients and process again until smooth.
We like this smoothie with a thick texture, 
but adjust with more milk if you prefer something a little more liquid.

ingredients

  • 100g / 3½½oz / 1 cup porridge oats
  • 450ml / 16fl oz / 2 cups natural or flavoured yoghurt
  • 240ml / 8fl oz / 1 cup whole milk
  • 400g / 14oz strawberries, hulled and washed
  • 2 tbsp clear honey
