wish you were still here? festival memories from Cornbury and Camp Bestival
This summer we’ve spent some blissed-out weekends supplying the breakfast needs of hungry festival-goers – and it’s been a blast. Here are some of our favourite memories from Cornbury and Camp Bestival…
Cornbury – muesli, Michalaks and a fabulous finale
We staged our usual campsite takeover of the Cornbury Festival (7-9 August) with all sorts of fun and free cereal liberally dished out. Sadly it was the last time this Oxfordshire favourite will be staged, but, blessed with some sunshine, great music and lots of lovely people, we went out with a bang.

Stefan, Hannah and Grayson – aka the Michalaks – drop in for a breakfast on the slow
Top bloggers Alex and Hannah wrote a lovely piece about it for Mini Travellers here, and this video they made also gives a flavour of the magic that was Cornbury…
…but the last word has to go to the brilliant vloggers and all-round stars, the Michalaks…
Camp Bestival – family fun in the sun (and occasional rain)
There can’t be a festival with more beautiful surroundings than Camp Bestival, which is held in the majestic grounds of Lulworth Castle down here on Dorset’s Jurassic coast. It’s like an epic holiday camp for kids, only with great music and a festival vibe that parents can actually enjoy. Despite it being the last weekend of July the weather was a bit, well, British – just that didn’t stop us having loads of fun.
Here are some of our fave snaps…

Amy of Everything Mummy even took over the Channel Mum Instagram account for the day:
And she made this fantastic video too…
