Wherever possible, we try to avoid adding sugar. When we have to, we add a smidge to certain ingredients to preserve them, or to bring out the best in their flavour.

We add a smidge of sugar to the cranberries (which are naturally very bitter) and a touch to the flakes, to add a natural raspberry flavour. Of course, sugar is an ingredient in white chocolate, but we’ve been careful to add just enough chocolate to create a wonderful flavour.

We add a smidge of sugar to the cranberries (which are naturally very bitter) and a touch to the blueberry flavoured barley flakes and dried blueberries, which brings out their delicate flavour. Any other sugar occurs naturally in the ingredients, from the fruit to the grains.

We add sugar to the toasted flakes to boost their natural flavour. It also helps preserve the pineapple, keeping it succulent.
